Vokes Univee 4 Filters – High-Performance Bag Filters for Air Conditioning Applications
Vokes Univee 4 Filters are designed to deliver exceptional air filtration performance across a wide range of HVAC applications. These filters feature an extended media area for greater dust-holding capacity and improved airflow. Built to fit most standard-sized frames, they are a versatile solution for many commercial and industrial air handling systems.
The Vokes Univee 4 range is manufactured in four distinct grades, tailored for general air conditioning requirements in environments such as offices, shopping centres, hotels, public buildings, hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, and other industries where clean air is essential. Their high-performance filtration capabilities help maintain optimal indoor air quality in even the most demanding environments.
Each Univee 4 Filter is composed of three specialised media layers. The first layer serves as a prefilter, capturing larger airborne particles. The second layer provides fine filtration, targeting smaller particulate matter. The third and final layer is designed to prevent fibre migration, ensuring clean airflow without releasing fibres into the system. These layers are securely sealed into a coated mild steel header, ensuring structural integrity during operation.
The filters are available in three module configurations—offering 5, 4, or 3 pocket bags—making them adaptable to different air volume and performance requirements.
Fire Safety and Compliance
A key feature of the Vokes Univee 4 Filters is their fire-resistant bag construction. These filters have been rigorously tested and certified by London Scientific Services for compliance with the flammability requirements of CP413: Ducts for Building Services. The bags are inherently non-flammable and, if exposed to fire, produce minimal smoke and toxic gases, enhancing safety in critical environments.
Filters are tested to AS1324.2.4 and 5.
Test laboratory is accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia. Accreditation number 13213.
Performance tests are conducted at least once every 5 years within a controlled environment in accordance with NATA and Australian Standards requirements
