Carbosorb Filters – High-Performance Odour and Gas Removal

Carbosorb filters are an effective solution for a wide range of air purification applications. Designed to eliminate unpleasant odours and airborne chemicals, Carbosorb is ideal for use in commercial kitchens, hospitality venues such as clubs and bars, shopping centres, and various industrial installations. These filters are available in multiple configurations to suit your needs, including the popular ‘AC’ type with activated carbon media, as well as two grades of activated alumina media—’AA1′ and ‘AA2’. All media types are available in either 205mm or 620mm depth, providing flexible options for different system requirements.

Advanced Media Options with Mark-2 HC

For enhanced performance, AES Environmental also offers Mark-2 HC media, a high-capacity variant that features double the permanganate percentage by weight compared to standard Mark-2 media. This increased capacity delivers approximately 40% better adsorption performance, making it ideal for applications that demand a higher level of gas or odour control.

Applications

Email Air Handling activated carbon granules are designed to work in conjunction with ventilation systems, targeting objectionable odours or harmful gases in a variety of environments. These systems are suitable for commercial kitchens, laboratories, industrial plants, combustion engines, and more. The filtration media can be integrated with air handling units or connected via piping from a compressor to the desired treatment location.

AES Environmental uses premium-grade activated carbon manufactured from coconut shell. This material undergoes a high-temperature activation process and achieves a receptivity rating of 65% under carbon tetrachloride vapour test conditions, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.
