The Ultrasafe60™ Class II Biological Safety Cabinet is a compact, high-performance solution designed to complement the standard Ultrasafe™ range of safety cabinets. Its reduced footprint makes it ideal for laboratories where space is at a premium, allowing it to fit seamlessly into even the most crowded environments without compromising safety or performance.
Engineered for versatility, the Ultrasafe™ 60 is suitable for use in research laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, universities, community health centres, retail dispensing pharmacies, and any setting that requires a controlled environment to protect the product, operator, and surrounding workspace.
One of its key advantages is its adaptability for mobile laboratory applications. The Ultrasafe™ 60 can be easily installed into mobile testing units, enabling rapid deployment to remote or regional areas as part of first responder or public health initiatives. This portability allows mobile test labs to be set up quickly, relocated with minimal expense, and operational in locations where access to laboratory facilities is otherwise limited.
The Ultrasafe™ 60 Class II Biological Safety Cabinet is designed to meet Australian standards such as 2252.2 (for Class II BSC cabinets) and additionally NSF, EU and KI discuss air barrier test method.
These cabinets are suited for products in risk categories 1 (low individual and community risk), 2 (moderate individual and low community risk) and 3 (high individual and moderate community risk). Class II Biological Safety Cabinets that meet 2252.2 and on-site certified to AS1807:2021 Clause 4.9 will reduce the risk of cross contamination in samples. Improving reporting accuracy, workplace efficiency and reducing cost to repeat the process due to uncertainty or doubt arriving from the work process.
